Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the Fruits:
    1. Mango: Stand the mango on its end and slice down each side of the pit. Score the flesh in a crosshatch pattern without cutting through the skin. Flip the skin inside out and carefully slice off the cubes into a large mixing bowl.
    2. Papaya: Halve the papaya lengthwise, scoop out the seeds with a spoon, then peel the skin with a vegetable peeler or knife. Dice the flesh into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl.
    3. Cantaloupe: Halve the cantaloupe, scoop out the seeds, then slice into wedges. Peel the rind from each wedge and dice the flesh into cubes, adding them to the bowl.
    4. Pineapple: Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Stand it upright and slice off the skin in strips, following the curve of the fruit. Remove any remaining "eyes" with a paring knife. Quarter the pineapple lengthwise, remove the tough core, and then dice the flesh into pieces. Add to the bowl.
    5. Orange: Slice off the top and bottom of the orange. Stand it upright and carefully slice off the peel and white pith. Working over the mixing bowl to catch juices, carefully cut along the membranes to release each segment.
    6. Banana: Hold off on slicing the banana until just before serving to prevent browning.
  2. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh passion fruit pulp, lime juice, and honey until well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
  3. Combine and Serve: Pour the passion fruit dressing over the mixed fruits in the large bowl. Gently toss everything together to ensure all the fruit is coated. If serving immediately, slice and add the banana now. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
